Mexican fuel prices started 2010 off with substantial increases. The IVA or Mexican sales tax also rose 1% nationwide, which had something to do with it. For almost all of 2009, prices were unchanged except for diesel. These are Mexican fuel prices in the interior. Fuel prices are different in Mexico City, Baja, Sonora, Q. Roo and within 21 kilometers of the US border.
