Mexico Medical Tourism in Guadalajara

The Mexican medical care we offer runs the gamut from plastic (cosmetic) surgery, hernia operations, LASIK and othe eye surgery and all medical procedures. We work with top-notch doctors. Some sites offer you a telephone directory of doctors from countries all over the globe. How impersonal - or as we say in Spanish, ¡Que barbaro! When you're our guest in Guadalajara, you are our family. Our native English-speaking personnel will answer all your questions by email and phone to help you decide whether to choose us to help you with your medical care. No hard sell, no flimflam, just honest answers. That is how we do business.

I, and my friend and medical business partner in Guadalajara believe that the Mexican medical system is absolutely first-rate. Yes, first-class medical treatments in Mexico is much less expensive (40-70%) than medical care in the USA, but costs are secondary.

Doctors in Mexico don't rush their patients through the door because that is the only way to make money. Mexican hospitals are more like first-class suite hotels. You are allowed to sleep, to have your family members stay with you and the food is really good.

Some people want the extra comfort of a local patient liaison to turn to for advice while in the country. We can provide (for a reasonable fee) your very own patient liaison, who will help you with anything you need while under our care.

We offer you two choices in hospitals. Both are first-class. One in fancier. It's like the difference between a Holiday Inn and a Hilton. Both are good. One offers more amenities and consequently is a little more expensive. But "expensive" is relative. Either will save you 40-70% on what you'd pay in the USA for comparable care.

Our main hospital is the Puerta de Hierro Medical Center in Guadalajara. Our other hospital is Altamira Hospital. We would take our families to either.

How it works.

On the following pages are some of the medical specialties we provide. We tell you who your doctors will be, their qualifications and their specialties. All the doctors and many of the support staff at the hospitals speak English. You email us with your request and questions. We respond to you and answer any concerns you might have. You fly to Guadalajara.

Accommodations

You can stay anywhere you want, but we can help you get a really great deal. We have an agreement with the Staybridge suites in Guadalajara. For $75 usd a night it includes a Studio Suite with a kitchenette, breakfast buffet every morning cocktails 3 nights a week 24 hour gym washer and dryers for free and they provide the detergent for you! Library, movie rentals, pool, business area, free scanner and copies Internet Wi-Fi through out the entire hotel. The hotel is connected to a shopping center that includes a  Soriana grocery store where you can buy groceries to cook in your suite. The mall also has the American chain restaurants like Chili's, Burger King, KFC, McDonalds and many boutiques. And yes, you can also find real Mexican food nearby.

Escort Service

We also offer a private VIP transportation service for $175 - airport-hotel - hotel all doctor visits and back to hotel. Then to the airport on day of departure.

Tour Service

If you want to add some "tourism" to the medical tourism trip, we can take care of that for you. If you feel up to exploring, we can provide you with a personal tour to Lake Chapala and Ajijic as well as site seeing in Guadalajara, with a 100% bilingual tour guide ( reservation needed) - 6 hour day $250 USD.

No problem! (We assume you don't mean the surgery). If you are comfortable that you can take care of your hotel and tranportation on your own, we give you all the info you need. But we are always here, right here in Guadalajara, to help you if you need it. This is a personal business, it's not just about money. We want you to feel like part of our family.
