Ocozocoautla, Chiapas (between Tuxtla and Tehuantepec) - RV parking with hookups (EW) at orphanage. No payment allowed, but it would surely be nice if you contribute to the orphanage with things they need or via online donation. See their web site.
Coconutz RV park in Cuyutlan - Closed.
New RV Park in Boca de Iguanas, La Huerta, Jalisco. This is on MEX-200 NW of Manzanillo and Melaque on the road to Vallarta. See their website for details.
The Mar Rosa in Mazatlan is open, but for sale. Caravans are using Las Jaibas RV Park, north of the marina on the way to Punta Cerritos.
Tehotihuacan RV Park near the ruins is open. A happy camper wrote:
I wanted to let you know that we are staying at the RV park here and it is fabulous! Mina is the owner and she speaks very good English and way to much fun to talk to. The park is very secure, showers clean, and in a perfect location. Please post this so people know it is a good p,ace to come, we would really like her to be here for our next trip.
Troncones RV Park in Guerrero, north of Ixtapa is open with new management. Apparently they were old fans of my Sanborn's Travelog writing, but they probably have redeeming character traits to make up for it. www.tronconesrvpark.com
San Felipe Campground in San Felipe del Agua, Oaxaca is reopened.
Roca Azul RV Park in Jocotepec on Lake Chapala near Ajijic and Chapala is a very nice RV park with cabins. Longitude (dec): -103.424167 - Latitude (dec): 20.266667. Roca Azul has agua termal (hot springs water) in one of the pools.
Midnight Green Acres RV Park in Jalisco has closed.
Hacienda Contreras RV Park in Valle de Juarez, Michoacán has closed.
Hermosillo RV Park is closed.
Cd. Victoria is RV-less. Rosie's is gone. The Hotel Escondida probably accepts RV's in the grassy area in front, though they were wishy-washy about it when I was there in 2014.
My road log through the area points you to a small, secure park run by a missionary group north of the city. My maps and road logs have recommendations for RV routes throughout the country.
Cd. Valles, San Luis Potosí - El Bañito RV Park is open, though it may appear to be closed. Even if gate is padlocked, pull up and honk. The caretaker will show up eventually.
Near Cd. Valles, San Luis Potosí - The water park down the road a few miles is still accepting RV's to park overnight, though there are no hookups.
Tamazunchale, San Luis Potosí - You can park at the fire station. See my page on Tamazunchale and Rudy for details.
The Mocambo in Veracruz does not accept RV's, but there is a great one in Anton Lizardo.
